My Thoughts and Concerns For my Upcoming Graduation

There has been so many times where I have thought of my grade 8 graduation. I have never graduated before, and making this my first graduation it has made me really excited. I can't wait till the moment I go up on the stage and graduate. Thinking about high school gives me the shivers, and also hypes me up. The fact that I am finally graduating and going off to high school is a big deal to me. I always wondered how high school would be. Well my opportunity is coming right after my graduation. The opportunity to experience high school in a way that I have been looking forward to. I have one concern after I graduate and go off to high school. My concern is "will I change"? I am scared of changing. I don't want to change unless it is a good change. Many individuals say high school will change you. Graduating will be the best thing that will happen to me. I hope that I get a reward at my graduation. I also hope that my graduation is going to be the graduation I have been dreaming of and the best that I can imagine. +

My 10 Year Future Plans!

This topic has come across my mind a few times. Through those times my decisions for the next 10 years of my life is to graduate from high school in 3 years. During those three years I want to take summer school every summer and an Arabic coarse as an extra credit for each year to improve the way I speak my language. During those three years in high school I want to join lots of clubs including; basketball, soccer, volleyball or any other interests. I want to join the MSA and be around a nice community. In my grade 11 year I want to be part of the student council, and maybe be the president. During high school I want to get a part time job. I would like to become a makeup artist and work in any brand name makeup store. I want to be among those who have the highest grades when graduating. I want to be the valedictorian of my senior graduating year (grade 11). I also want to try my best and get a scholarship for university. After graduating I would love to go into medical science, and become an orthopedic surgeon. I want to pursue my dreams into getting my PHD, and my masters. However, during university I would like to get a well paying job so I could pay off my student loans during the years. I want to do this because when I am finished university I would not have to have any dept on me and continue on doing something I love which is being an orthopedic surgeon. This is my plans for my future 10 years.

Memorable Teacher!

My most memorable teacher was a couple years ago in grade 6. My teachers name was Ms. Brittany. When I first met her she treated me like I was a student that she knew from the passed years.. She left a smile on my face everyday before I left from school. Through my ups and downs she would make me feel better. She was similar to Mrs. Laila; my home room teacher who I appreciate so much. Once Ms.Brittany got to know me better I started acting my normal self; crazy, weird, random etc. Ms. Brittany was one heck of a funny teacher!I would wonder how she handled me or even my crazy classroom. We had this thing in the class room called "house points." House points are when we are behaving well or answering questions we would get points. If we reached to 100 house points she gave the students a prize. I loved her prizes! When she left in the beginning of the year when I was in grade 7 she gave everyone in my classroom her email to still be in contact with her. She was one of the best teachers I have had throughout the passing years, and she left lots of great memories I would never forget.

Watch This Inspirational Video About Auto-Correcting Humanity!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRl8EIhrQjQ

Throughout this video I realized how true the words that have been spoken, In my opinion, I believe that since society has changed, as years pass, technology has developed more extreme. In the current society that we are living in, our devices has seemed to be more meaningful than most things; like our family. While we are being spoken to, we cannot help but stare down at our phones. We are too attached to our devices. Throughout the video, he inspires me to look up from my device and enjoy the world of what it is made for. These days we ignore the fact that all we care about is our devices and internet, we deny the fact that it has taken control over our lives. His video is quite an inspiration, furthermore, his video is the truth. I truly believe his video is very powerful and has great meaning to what our world is and inspires us to change ourselves from within. I pray and hope that this society does not continue to corrupt the minds of such young children. Rather than staring at an iPad, they should go out and smell the beauty of nature. I hope I can make a change one day and that maybe one day someone else can follow those steps and eventually it'll be back to playing outside and talking face to face and visiting each other instead of Facetime. I believe that things will change if we all step up and make a difference in this world. Overall this video is very inspiring and gave me the chills!

An Unforgettable Summer

One time I was sitting down and my father says "do you know your family friend is going to Montreal. They invited you, you should go." Then I told my father "are you joking?! Of coarse I would love to go! However, I did not believe it because I was only twelve, but I guess he suggested it because my sister was coming with me. When we had our road trip to Montreal, it was like a sauna in the car. I couldn't wait to get to Montreal because how hot it was in the car, or I couldn't wait to go for a rest stop. When we went to Montreal we were at a cottage near a beach. I had the time of my life. The worst part was that we had no wi-fi till the last day! We went canoeing, and my friend pushed me out of the boat, so I pushed her right back. Then we went on a big boat ride, and once we crossed the lake across from me there was this huge house on fire! It was massive! Every day my sister, our friends and me would go to a cafe in the morning. It was so hard to order food because no one spoke English, they only spoke french, so we struggled speaking french. The way we communicated was hilarious, we kept on pointing at signs and such. This was an unforgettable summer, I loved it!
