One time I was sitting down and my father says "do you know your family friend is going to Montreal. They invited you, you should go." Then I told my father "are you joking?! Of coarse I would love to go! However, I did not believe it because I was only twelve, but I guess he suggested it because my sister was coming with me. When we had our road trip to Montreal, it was like a sauna in the car. I couldn't wait to get to Montreal because how hot it was in the car, or I couldn't wait to go for a rest stop. When we went to Montreal we were at a cottage near a beach. I had the time of my life. The worst part was that we had no wi-fi till the last day! We went canoeing, and my friend pushed me out of the boat, so I pushed her right back. Then we went on a big boat ride, and once we crossed the lake across from me there was this huge house on fire! It was massive! Every day my sister, our friends and me would go to a cafe in the morning. It was so hard to order food because no one spoke English, they only spoke french, so we struggled speaking french. The way we communicated was hilarious, we kept on pointing at signs and such. This was an unforgettable summer, I loved it!

I'm glad you had fun, that sounds very interesting. I also go to Montreal every other summer and I know your struggle of not being able to communicate with the locals there effectively!
ReplyDeleteWow that sounded fun wish iwas there ;)
ReplyDeleteMontreal sounds so cool. In my opinion, taking a break from some wi-fi is good for a while.
